Biography
Selin Uzal was born in İstanbul, Turkey. She met the stage at age 9 with amateur productions; at age 13 she started her first acting education at the Hacettepe State Conservatory in Ankara, Turkey. In 2008 she graduated from International Baccalaureate program with a High Level Drama Certificate. She continued her education in New York Film Academy, New York University and American Academy of Dramatic Arts, on acting for the camera, Performing arts and Musical Theater. She graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and a Scholarship in Screenwriting in 2013, from Pepperdine University. She acted in multiple short films in LA and in New York. She has acted in TV and in commercials in İstanbul. She is most known for her comedic role Derya in the Turkish Series Kiralık Aşk.
